Outstanding in the field is a very special kind of supper club. The kind of special that no one survives but one that grew well beyond the individuals that conceived it. They held, by our count, 57 dinners in 2024, most of which sold out.
This is the love child of Jim Denevan in 1999 as a "radical alternative" to the conventional dining experience.
It made us go outside and open our eyes to all the beauty that we often overlook in our backyard. It is a celebration of people, place, culture, history and most of all tradition. Their aim is to reconnect diners to the land while celebrating the hardworking hands that feed us. It is a refreshing breath of slow air in a world moving fast.
This is not farm to table; it is table to farm.
