Introducing Savor
"Is making a living the same thing as making a life?" - Maya Angelou
I was born in London and raised in the Middle East. My mother was a magical cook and my father a fantastical eater. Every great cook needs to seek a curious yet critical audience. We travelled solely for food and there were two unwritten rules on the road – first, we never ordered the same thing on the menu; everything must be tried, and second, meals were communal; it was as much about the people as it was about their food. My parents taught me that the greatest form of travel was to be at someone’s dining table.
How we spend our time and whom we spend it with are the most precious things we have. It is now clearer to me than ever before, people matter more than things, and experiences matter more than anything. Just as music is the sound between the notes rather than the notes itself, it is the how we live that matters most.
At Savor, we are curators whose mission is to help people savor life through extraordinary experiences.
Welcome to the future of travel.
Every letter will showcase one extraordinary experience from somewhere in this beautiful world. We promise to be objective, independent, authentic and most of all, to never stop seeking. We hope you enjoy the journey with us as much as you do the destination.
Forever seeking,
Kanu & Team Savor
